Software framework written in Objective-C and designed for macOS. It was developed by Andy Matuschak and released in 2006, before being taken over by the open-source Sparkle Project in 2014. Its purpose is to make it easier for the end user to update software, and applications running within the framework are updated automatically via RSS enclosures without user intervention. It uses ARC and Auto Layout, and offers security via its own EdDSA keys and Apple Code Signing. All macOS apps can work with Sparkle. Distributed under the MIT License.
A daily schedule builder designating permitted and banned applications and sites. Web domains are blocked and the user is redirected to motivational quotes. Banned applications are blocked. Periodic breaks disable the computer to allow a change of scenery and eye rest. Adjustable protection settings can make it impossible to turn off FindFocus.
