Telecommunication protocol on the master-slave architecture. Used in industry for communication between electronic devices. It can be used to transfer data via serial communication lines RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, and TCP / IP networks (Modbus TCP). There are non-standard implementations, which use UDP. The protocol was developed by Modicon (owned by Schneider Electric) for use in programmable logic controllers in 1979. Many manufacturers of electronic equipment supported the standard for its openness and thousands of products using it appeared on the market.
Mechanical benchmarks allow you to determine the beginning of roof delamination. The benchmark consists of tubes with scales and sling wire ropes fixed in a pre-drilled well at its mouth under the roof arch. We decided to develop an automatic sensor that measures the displacement of the cables inside the benchmark and subsequently transmits the readings to a server.
