The Evostream Media Server is a media server written in C++ and released in 2010. It processes audio and video signals, media streams and files, and supports playback. There are network protocols for various operating systems including Windows, Linux, macOS, BSD and Solaris, and the server can transfer data to HTML5-supported browsers in real time. Numerous protocols are supported, including RTMP, RTSP, MPEG-TS, HLS, DASH and WebRTC, and encrypted streaming using end-to-end SSL/TLS is offered. Implementations include video surveillance systems, smart glasses, drones, and medical devices.
Enables viewing of video recordings and live video from connected cameras and control of their pan/tilt mechanisms. Cameras are shown on a world map in the public and private sections of the site. In the user account other users can be provided with guest access to a camera to watch live video and archival recordings.
